hidden gem and the best siders around!

Just a short walk from our apartment we found the best little coffee shop around. Gunther Tooties Bagel Shop in Pembroke! The coffee is excellent and the bagels come in every variety you can imagine. They also make delicious homemade cream cheese. Even better, the girls that work there are very cheerful and seem to know most of their customers by name. Its the neighborhood coffee shop feel that make it so appealing, okay well the bagels make it appealing too!!

Don't forget to get a coffee card while you are there!

Construction news....
We have the best siding crew ever! They are making steady progress and plan to have to whole house done by early next week, weather permitting. Ian was so helpful when I stopped by today, making sure he had all the "light plates" in the proper places. I had absolutely no idea what a "light plate" was, but he was more than happy to explain and offer suggestions. Its been a great experience getting to know all the different contractors, it also makes us realize how much work goes on behind the scenes coordinating it all.
